Dallas Salesperson:

Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retail customers across Dallas and surrounding areas. Use relationships to support customer’s objectives while hitting and hopefully exceeding Martin House sales targets. Specific duties include collecting and inputting beer orders, ensuring beer orders are executed to full customer satisfaction, collaboratively planning and supporting customer events, finding new customers and keeping existing customers happy. Most of this job is in the field at customers’ establishments.

To excel at this job, you’ll need to be able to enjoy working on the road with high levels of facetime at accounts. You’ll need to be able to relate to your customer and focus on making their life easier. You’ll need to earn their trust and respect and make them happy when they see you walking through the door on a salescall. At the end of the day you’ll be evaluated on a quarterly target and paid accordingly.

Things that will help you get the job:

 – Experience in sales and solid references
 – Proven record of hitting financial targets
 – Evidence that you can work without supervision
 – Evidence that you are meticulous and extremely reliable
 – Evidence that you can differentiate yourself from competition
 – The ability to sell yourself
 – Connection to the service industry
 – No DUIs – this is a deal-breaker
