Old school Martin House fans will remember the first stout we ever brewed – There Will Be Stout. It was dark as motor oil and brewed with six pounds of crushed pretzels per barrel. Well eventually we canned TWBS and changed the name to (what most people were calling it) Pretzel Stout. This year we decided to add a twist on our beloved Pretzel Stout and throw some peanut butter in there. The result is a roasty, toasty, slightly salty stout with a delicious peanut butter flavor that is present throughout the entire duration of the brew.

Adventure Pairing:

The OG Pretzel Stout had a recommendation of “rock climbing”. But for Peanut Butter Pretzel Stout, it couldn’t be any more perfect that this delicious treat pairs perfectly with Halloween. We’re tapping up PBPS this weekend (Oct 2018) at the 6th Annual Booery Tour, our favorite Halloween bash. This beer also goes great with peanut butter filled pretzels!
